“Growing up on a farm, my family has definitely taught us the importance of working hard. I’ve grown up working in the summer showing and selling livestock for my college fund. It’s really nice to know that other people recognize the hard work it takes to get to college. I am just grateful for Columbia REA’s support. It means a lot knowing that the agriculture community is still supported, especially when it comes to education.”

“I’ve applied for a whole bunch of scholarships. This is one of the bigger ones that I applied for, so I really worked hard at it. I had surgery on my knee a few weeks ago so I haven’t been able to work very much lately. Even if it was just 20 bucks it would help immensely. I am super excited about this scholarship. This is going to help a lot. It’s awesome. Thank you. I really appreciate it.”
