Congratulations! 2025 Scholarship Recipients

Columbia REA is proud to recognize 4 local High School seniors for their exceptional accomplishments as students and their outstanding commitment to their community.

Columbia REA established the scholarship program in 1999. This year, the Clark A. Brewington Scholarship Program, named in memory of former Columbia REA General Manager Clark Brewington, has been awarded to 3 local students living within the Columbia REA service area.

The Clark A. Brewington Memorial Scholarship is a $12,000 scholarship, paid in annual installments of $3,000 for 4 consecutive academic years.

The $3,000 Columbia REA Jeff Meredith Scholarship Program is named in honor of former Columbia REA lineman Jeff Meredith. This scholarship is awarded up to twice a year and is intended to assist with continuing education opportunities for qualifying persons who are enrolled or will be enrolled in a recognized Electrical Lineworker Program (ELP).

This scholarship will contribute $3,000 to the recipient’s Line School account for fees and tuition expenses upon successfully enrolling at a recognized lineworker’s school.
