2026 Scholarship Applications Are Now Available!

Application forms for the Clark A. Brewington Memorial Academic Scholarship and the Jeff Meredith Lineman Scholarship are now available on the Columbia REA website.

The Columbia REA Jeff Meredith Line Scholarship Program is named in honor of former Columbia REA lineman Jeff Meredith. This scholarship is intended to assist with continuing education opportunities for qualifying persons who are enrolled or will be enrolled in a recognized Electrical Lineworker Program (ELP).

Columbia REA offers 2 Jeff Meredith scholarships per year. This scholarship will contribute $3,000 to the recipient’s school account for fees and tuition expenses upon successfully enrolling in a recognized Electrical Line worker Program.

The Clark A. Brewington Memorial Academic Scholarship Program provides continuing educational opportunities for High School seniors who are Columbia REA members by offering 3 $3,000 academic scholarships.

These scholarships are allocated evenly in the amount of $3,000 per year for 4 years (up to $12,000 total) to an accredited academic institution, and will be awarded 1 per co-op voting district, based on the residency of the student member applicant.
