Columbia Rural Electric Association (CREA) is proud to recognize three local High School seniors for their exceptional accomplishments as students and their outstanding commitment to their community with 4-year scholarships worth up to $12,000 to continue their education at the next level.

Pomeroy High School
Stacia will attend the University of Idaho and plans to study Human Resources Management.
“I am just so grateful for this scholarship. it is just a huge help. It’s going to take some of the financial stress off of going to college so I can focus on my studies. I am very thankful.”

DeSales High School
Macy will attend Washington State University and study Journalism and Animal Sciences.
“I’m extremely thankful to the membership of Columbia REA. This scholarship will help me achieve my academic goals and prepare me for my career and for being a good citizen of the world.”

Sophia Haugen
Walla Walla High School
Sophia will attend Creighton University and will pursue a career as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
“This scholarship opens doors for me. I grew up around health care and my goal is to get a Nursing Degree. This will help me reach my dream and help me study and learn and achieve the career in patient care that I want.”
