Columbia REA Recognized for Excellence

Columbia REA (Rural Electric Association) Member Services Communication Specialist, Steve Owens, hogged the spotlight a little bit at the NWPPA Northwest Innovations in Communications (NIC) conference last month, winning 6 awards at the Annual Excellence in Communications awards ceremony.

Columbia REA was recognized in the following Categories:

• 1st Place – Best Newsletter/Magazine (Ruralite)
• 1st Place – People’s Choice Award, Photography (Meggy Mae, photo by Bob Greene)
• 2nd Place – Special Publication/Advertising (Celebrate WW Sponsor’s Guide)
• 2nd Place – Advertising Campaign (Columbia iConnect ads in Ruralite magazine)

• 3rd Place – Wild Card category (Balloon Stampede hats and sweatshirts)
