Columbia Rural Electric Association has an
opening for a Journeyman Lineman or Hot Apprentice to be based out of our Burbank Service Center in Washington.
This position requires performance of all responsibilities required of a Journeyman Lineman/Hot Apprentice status including construction, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground distribution systems. Applicant must qualify as an IBEW journeyman electrical lineman and become a member of Local 77 within 90 days; possess within 30 days a CDL with Class A endorsement; provide proof of safety, first aid, and CPR training; have the ability to operate digger derricks, bucket trucks, backhoe, and other equipment commonly used in the electric utility business; and reside within 25 miles of any cooperative service center. Selected applicant must pass a job related pre-employment drug screening test.

This position is a union position and is under the provisions of the Local 77 Union agreement with the cooperative. Salary Range: Journeyman Lineman $62.54/hour, Hot Apprentice 5th Step $53.78/hour.
